• You are familiar with the role of emerging technologies in nature-based tourism experiences.
• You know the concept of digital transformation and how it fosters inclusive, accessible and sustainable services enhancing technology-driven nature-based experiences.
• You know how to use digital platforms, tools and solutions, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and extended reality (XR).
• You get insights into how these technologies may enhance phygital, a blend of physical and digital nature-based tourism experiences.
• You understand how the potential of emerging technologies, for example, augmented and virtual reality and metaverse steer for innovations in creating value for personalised high-end service concepts.
• You understand the importance of senses, heritage, traditions and storytelling as context in digitalising nature-based experiences.
• You learn about the potential of technology-driven nature-based tourism experiences making experiences accessible even without physical travel and thus increasing the resilience of the tourism industry.
