Classes are Zoom sessions in the afternoons from 16:30 to 19:30 on the dates listed in Moodle and Peppi.

The course uses learning materials such as online resources, relevant articles, books, and task templates. The learning materials will be announced in Moodle during the course and lectures.
Opetusmenetelmät
Course Overview:
This course is delivered entirely online via Zoom, with all materials and assignment submissions managed through the Moodle learning environment. The course is structured as a project based on the student’s own business idea.
Schedule:
Sessions are held in the afternoons and evenings from 16:30 to 19:30. Detailed dates are available in Peppi and Moodle. Active participation in live online sessions is essential for success, as these sessions include collaborative learning that cannot be replaced by recordings.
Minimum attendance requirement:
Students must participate at least 50% of the scheduled online sessions and participation in the final seminar.
Learning Activities; The course includes:
Online lectures
Daily theme-based tasks and presentations
A final seminar with project presentations
All activities take place online. The primary learning task is to develop a Sales and Marketing Handbook for your own business, accompanied by a sales pitch and oral presentations.
Assessment:
Assignments must be submitted in Moodle by the deadlines indicated there.
Assessment is based on:
Completion of theme tasks and project work
Attendance
Seminar presentations
Evaluation is conducted through continuous assessment, and final grades will be issued within one month after the course ends.
The use of AI:
The course applies ARENE’s traffic light model for AI use: AI tools are permitted, but their use must be disclosed (yellow).
Prior course recommendation:
The course is part of the LUC entrepreneurship studies and it is highly recommended to complete the "Me as an entrepreneur - do I have what it takes?" course, preceding this course. That course gives you the skills to continue to this course.

There is no exam in this course.
Grade improvement and retake of a failed grade:
It is possible to improve the course grade by the end of the following semester. The method of improvement will be determined on a case-by-case basis in consultation with the responsible teacher.
A failed grade can be retaken by the end of the following semester. The retake will follow the teacher’s instructions, and the completion principles will be agreed upon individually, reflecting the learning objectives of the course.

Not possible due to the course format: the course uses process-based assessment and includes activating tasks during class sessions.

Lectures and lecture activities 35 h
Seminar 5 h.
Preparing the learning assignment 60 h.
