Learning objectives:

The student
- is familiar with digital services and the potential uses of social media
- can instruct clients in the use of digital services and interactions in online environments
- understands and can assess the significance and challenges of digital services in the development of participatory social and health services
- can identify various application opportunities in the development of digital services

Contents:
- Client-oriented digital services, their use and suitability assessment
- Online counselling and consultation, online services, virtual welfare tools and platforms
- Legislation, data security and data protection connected to online services

Teaching methods

Kurssi suoritetaan täysin Moodle-verkko-oppimisympäristössä opiskellen. Kurssi koostuu erilaisista yksilötyönä sekä pienryhmätyöskentelynä toteuttavista oppimistehtävistä, jotka tehdään, palautetaan ja arvioidaan verkossa. Kurssiarvosana perustuu opiskelijan sitoutumiseen ja aktiivisuuteen kurssin suorittamisen suhteen sekä palautettuihin oppimistehtäviin.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Satisfactory (1–2):
The student knows and can identify the digital services of the professional field and the potential uses of social media and can instruct clients in the use of digital services.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good (3–4):
The student can use the digital services of the professional field and utilise the different application opportunities of digital services in client work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent (5):
The student can assess and develop the digital services of the professional field.
