Objective

Having successfully completed the course, the student will
1) have built a basic vocabulary of Japanese and will be familiar with basic lingual structures
2) be familiar with a growing stock of KATAKANA and KANJI Japanese characters
3) achieve the level A1 of the CEFR (the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Content

The course covers: pronunciation, listening, speaking, reviewing KATAKANA and learning more KANJI, reading and grammar.
