Objective
After completing the course, the student understands the characteristics of entrepreneurship in the area of creative industries. The student recognizes different ways of starting a new business, evaluates the feasibility and potential of a business idea. He knows how to analyze different forms of business. The student is able to evaluate his own strengths and networking opportunities from an entrepreneurial perspective. Get the skills to apply internal and/or external entrepreneurship perspectives in working life.
Content
One will create an understanding of what is meant by the creative industry and cultural industry. One will identify company forms and learn their differences. A student will be able to evaluate his/her/one’s own strengths, capabilities and possible networks from an entrepreneurial perspective. One will get to know the creative industry entrepreneurs’ experiences and the operations of companies, as well as the importance of networks. One will identify and practice ways of starting a business, e.g. design thinking, customer development and lean start up models. One will learn to assess the profitability of a new business idea, e.g. using the business model Canvas tool.
