Having completed this study unit
• You are able to recognise HRM as a function in an organisation as well as the tasks and aims of HRM.
• You are able to recognise the role of leadership in an organisation and understand the need of leadership skills in
different situations.
• You recognise the stages of the employee journey and know positive employee experience as a success factor.
• You are able recognise the interconnection between HRM, labour law and payroll functions.
• You know e.g. staff planning, staff acquisition, induction training processes and how to use HRM-related ICT tools in
practice.
• You understand the importance of networking and partnerships at a business and individual level.
• You are familiar with various aspects of the Finnish working culture.
