Objective
High-end tourism is a growing sector. In this study unit, the student understands the concept of sustainability in the high-end tourism industry. The student gets familiar with the definitions of sustainable high-end tourism and the basic elements of high-end luxury tourism. In addition, the student understands the customer perspective on sustainable high-end tourism and learns the basics of marketing high-end tourism products and services. The student gets an understanding of the operational management of sustainable high-end customer experience.

Coursera course online lectures on Sustainable high-end tourism and quizzes and related workshops and a company visit form the basis of the learning process.
