Objective

You know how to interact professionally and dialogically with customers and patients of different ages and backgrounds as well as their loved ones.
You know how to take customers’ and patients’ cultural background into account when you interact with them. You know how to act professionally and ethically in various interaction situations as well as digital environments.
You know how to follow work community skills in a multi-professional and multicultural work community. You know how to communicate verbally and in writing in a competent manner, following sector-specific practices and Lapland UAS guidelines.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Satisfactory (1–2)
You identify the principles of professional interaction when meeting customers from different backgrounds. You define customer-oriented dialogic interaction in nursing. You know the importance of culture in interaction. You also identify ethical practices in digital environments.
You name the principles of multi-professional work and teamwork. You identify aspects of your communication skills. Your verbal communication is understandable. You identify different types of text used for studies and write an understandable written learning assignment based on the Lapland UAS writing and referencing guidelines.
Fail: You have not achieved level 1.
