Tavoitteet

The student: - understands the key concepts and theories of software design and is able to apply these into his / her work - is able to create specifications for a software solution based on customer requirements - can utilize different types of modelling techniques and tools used in software design

Material in the Moodle learning environment.

Opetusmenetelmät

The course content is divided into three main themes: - Design models and design principles - Requirements specification work - Modeling with UML notation The main topics are covers as lectures or material distributed in advance as a video lecture/other material. There are learning assignments and an exam. Additional reading is available for each topic, which complements the content of the lectures and helps you learn the topics needed to do the assignments and the exam. The study language of the course is English.
