You know how to plan, implement and evaluate guidance for different target groups, justifying and taking into account distances.
You can utilize teleworking tools and online interaction skills in guidance.
You are able to evaluate and develop your own skills and well-being at work.
You know and recognize nursing career development opportunities regionally, nationally, and internationally.

You can do half (5 weeks) of this practical training during summer time on 1.5. - 31.8.2026 in your own workplace as a paid nurse (sairaanhoitajan sijainen).

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat

5 weeks of Practical training in evidence-based nursing can be done on a paid basis in your own work, if it is a substitute for a nurse. You can find instructions for starting this process from Hoitotyön harjoittelut -Moodle platform. Follow the instructions.

Announce the internship information (via Forms), indicate that it is a paid internship. The student have to contact in advance with the teacher, who is responsible of this practical training. All the questions concerning this training via email to Henri Perälä (henri.perala@lapinamk.fi).

Working at the workplace; 38 hour 45 minutes / week for 5 weeks.

You apply the career development opportunities of a nurse on an international, national and regional level.

Note! You cannot go to Evidence-based nursing practice if you have not completed the previous practical trainings or theories.

The medical calculation exam of the Nurse's Core Competence Exam must be successfully completed one month before the start of practical training.
