Having completed this study unit
• You get familiar with various tasks and duties typical of the tourism and hospitality industry.
• You acquire useful tools and passports/licences needed in tourism-related operations and tasks along with practical experience in the field.
• You become familiar with the operating model and processes of the field work company/organisation.
• You are able to work as a member of a work community.
• You know the basic concepts of cultural diversity and are able to communicate effectively in different international
environments.
• You are able to set proper career goals based on your preferences and career choices.
• You have a realistic understanding of educational and career opportunities and options.
• You identify your potential and preferences regarding future career options and are able to make a proper plan for
yourself by using suitable job seeking platforms and documents.
