Aika ja paikka

The study unit is delivered fully online and includes both real-time online lessons and scheduled learning tasks.

Opetusmenetelmät

The teaching of the study unit is conducted via the Zoom platform, and lessons will not be recorded. Each lesson includes both theoretical content and practical exercises to support learning. During the study unit, you will either develop a new business idea or further develop an existing one.

The study unit includes seven assessed assignments. Each lesson topic is followed by a corresponding assignment, and there is an additional final assignment that summarises the entire study unit.

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat

You can complete the study unit in one of the following ways:
a) By attending all scheduled online lessons and completing the independent assignments successfully.
OR
b) By attending at least three online lessons, completing substitute assignments for missed lessons, and successfully completing the independent assignments.

Attendance can be substituted by completing a replacement lesson available in the Moodle learning environment. These replacement lessons include both self-study materials and substitute assignments.

Attendance in online lessons is highly recommended.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

The scope of the study unit is 5 ECTS credits, which corresponds to approximately 135 hours of total work. Your workload is distributed approximately as follows:
Scheduled online lessons: 24 hours
Independent work, including assessed assignments: 111 hours

You are aware of the opportunities of entrepreneurship in planning your own career path, and you recognize some of the suitable forms of entrepreneurship.
You are able to name the skills, knowledge and characteristics required of an entrepreneur.
You are able to identify and list your own strengths and take them into account in ideation and planning your entrepreneurship path.
You are able to recognize factors related to the business environment as part of the planning and consider the opportunities for business that the environment brings by taking into account responsibility and sustainable development.
You are able to create a plan for your business idea by using the responsible business model canvas.

Level 2
Entrepreneurship skills
You recognize the opportunities of entrepreneurship in planning your own career path and are able to identify various suitable forms of entrepreneurship.

KÄYTTÄJÄTUNNUKSET
Saat käyttäjätunnuksia koskevan sähköpostiviestin IT-käyttäjähallinnosta noin viikkoa ennen opintojen alkua. Aktivointi tapahtuu henkilökohtaisilla verkkopankkitunnuksilla tai mobiilivarmenteella. Seuraa myös sähköpostisi roskapostikansiota. Viesti voi mennä roskapostiin.

OPISKELU
Opiskelu edellyttää aktiivista osallistumista. Yksi opintopiste vastaa noin 27 tuntia opiskelijan työtä. Opintojen suoritusvaatimukset ovat avoimen AMKin opiskelijoille samat kuin tutkinto-opiskelijoille.
Opiskelijalla tulee olla oma (kannettava) tietokone.
