Objective

Competence goals:

You are able to identify elements of positive mental health in a person’s life story and health promotion.
You can identify the most important mental health, addiction and substance abuse problems. You are able to utilize nursing recommendations and nursing principles and you understand the networks of the mental health and substance abuse treatment service system.
You can assess the impact of mental health disorders and substance use on the well-being of a person and his or her family.
You are able to participate in teamwork under supervision as a member of the work community when implementing various forms of care.
You work in dialogue with the customer and their loved ones.
You are able to use work community support, peer review, and feedback to promote your own professional growth.
You work in accordance with the principles of patient safety and occupational safety.

- The student's learning process: Achievement of the objectives set for the traineeship, planning, self-direction, acquisition of knowledge and justification of activities on the basis of theoretical knowledge.
Ethical competence
- Respect for confidentiality and discretion, compliance with laws and regulations, values and principles of nursing, safe working practices, responsibility, caring attitude towards client/patient/relatives/cooperation and learning network. Responsibility for own professional development
Collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Ability to initiate and maintain professional interactions: patient/client relationships, subordinate skills, collegiality, teamwork, working in pairs, multidisciplinary work, cooperation between care and service units, networks.
Teaching and guidance skills
- The student guides and supports a variety of patients/clients, their relatives and friends and groups and communities. Guides and supports the client in self-care and in managing the patient's own health problem. Health promotion skills.

Criteria for an failed traineeship
- Rejection of a traineeship/work-based learning is based on professional, cooperation, development and development skills criteria. One of the following criteria is sufficient for rejection:
