Objective
The student knows basic organisational behaviour and leadership theories.
The student is able to self-reflect his/her own role in an organisation and he/she understands individual and group behaviour in organisations.
The student understands the basic principles of motivation and team dynamics.
He/she is able to communicate effectively in team setting and lead teams.

Location and time
Teaching is carried out at the Rovaniemi campus during the weeks 38-41. The intensive week (6.-10.10.2025) with international students requires participation for the whole programme. Individual working (group work in international groups) until the end of the week 43.
It is not possible to complete the course without attending a class at the campus.
Materials
Lecture materials and articles willl be provided in the beginning of the course.

Basic organisational behaviour and leadership theories:
The student knows basic organisational behaviour and leadership theories.
The student understands basic principles of self-reflection at work, motivation and working in teams.
Level 2
Basic organisational behaviour and leadership theories:
The student has satisfactory knowledge and can explain basic organisational behaviour and leadership theories.
The student understands and can with assistance analyse the principles of self-reflection at work, motivation and working in teams.

Level 3
Basic organisational behaviour and leadership theories:
The student understands organisational behaviour and leadership theories.
The student is able to analyse his/her own behaviour at work, different ways of motivation and working in teams.
He/she is able to lead teams and have basic understanding of principles of team leadership.
