Sisältö

Exploring the visual as a way of distributing research results and making research-based knowledge more easily accessible to the tourism sector. The goal is to understand processes in the sector on how the data provided by different methods are distributed and used in the companies. The learning, teaching, training activity "Seeing is believing" will take part in November in Estoril, Portugal. During this event, students will work in international teams and are coached by teachers from all different partners (Slovenia, Norway, Portugal, Finland). The learning process will focus on learning about possibilities of visualization and developing new content and testing this content in practice. The aim of this activity is for the students to gain knowledge of how they can present their results or research with different visualization techniques more effectively. During the intensive study week in Portugal, students will be participating both in classroom activities as well as field trips to tourism businesses.

The student has participated the webinar and the intensive study week and has produced some development ideas and reflections that remain on a basic level. The assignments are completed but not always performed according to the instructions and deadlines.

The student has participated the webinar and the intensive study week. His/ her reflection on the topic indicate good familiarization on the study material and contents and he/ she has produced reasonable development ideas. The student has participated the webinar and the intensive study week and shown active participation to the programme. His/ her reflections are analytical and show effort put on the topic. The student’s development ideas are good and well-founded. All the assignments are performed according to the instructions and deadlines.
