Tavoitteet
After successful completion of the course, the doctoral candidate is able to:
- comprehend the main features of the phenomenological method
- perceive how to apply the principles of phenomenology (first methodological principle and principle of principles)
- be aware of differences between natural and phenomenological attitudes
Toteutustavat
The course includes seminar days. Pre-readings will be available on Moodle before the course, along with a pre-assigment.

You are expected to participate actively in the seminar days. We hope that organizing the seminar days intensively between 23 January and 3 February would allow you to reserve your days for this course within the aforementioned time period. The nature of course is intensive also in the sense that it – in addition to the time in your calendar – it requires that you have the possibility to focus your thinking for the content of this course.
