Objective

Competence goals:

You are able to identify elements of positive mental health in a person’s life story and health promotion.
You can identify the most important mental health, addiction and substance abuse problems. You are able to utilize nursing recommendations and nursing principles and you understand the networks of the mental health and substance abuse treatment service system.
You can assess the impact of mental health disorders and substance use on the well-being of a person and his or her family.
You are able to participate in teamwork under supervision as a member of the work community when implementing various forms of care.
You work in dialogue with the customer and their loved ones.
You are able to use work community support, peer review, and feedback to promote your own professional growth.
You work in accordance with the principles of patient safety and occupational safety.
