The student knows the basic procurement process and the role and meaning of procurement in an organization.
He/she knows the management process of procurement. The student recognizes special features in procurement in different industries.
He/she has a holistic understanding of procurement and its relation to sustainability and profitability of an organization.

Purchasing and Supply Chain Management - A Sustainability Perspective (Johnsen, T., Howard, M. & Miemczyk, J. 2019). This course book is available in the Lapland UAS library (only limited copies available in print).
