Objective

After completing the course, the student is familiar with the structure of layered OSI and TCP / IP models, the functionalities and general cabling standard of LAN media, the operation of the most common LAN devices and device applications, as well as key TCP / IP protocols and is able to perform IP subnetting. After completing the course, the student is able to build and test the operation of a small local area network and connect the data to the local area network. The student is able to calculate IP addresses and subnets, as well as define an IP address book for workstations and test the functionality of an IP connection.

Further information

After completing the course, the student will be familiar with the structure of the layered OSI and TCP / IP models, the functionalities of the LAN media, the general cabling standard, the applications of the most common LAN devices and applications, and the key TCP / IP protocols, and will be able to perform IP subnetwork. After completing the course, the student knows how to build and test a small local area network and connect it to a local area network. The student knows how to calculate IP addresses and subnets, and to define IP address book for workstations and to test the functionality of the IP connection.
