Objective

Having successfully completed this course, the student will
1) possess knowledge of the main structures of Chinese grammar and an extended basic vocabulary
2) be able to communicate orally and in writing in common everyday situations
3) be able to understand simple speech when presented at a slow pace
4) be able to read simple articles concerned with aspects of their environment e.g. people, places, a job or study experience
5) be able to achieve the level A2 of the CEFR (the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Content

The course consists of extended information of used everyday events, e.g. taking about study life, sharing interest, giving invitations and declination, etc.

Qualifications

Chinese 1-2 or equivalent studies.
