Objective
The aim of this course is to enhance your oral skills in terms of fluency.
Having completed the course you will
1) understand Finnish rather well when spoken at a normal speed and when the topics are familiar
2) be able to take part in routine conversations about issues that you find important
3) know more about the differences between spoken and written Finnish
4) be able to describe what you see, hear, and experience
5) have the opportunity to achieve the level B1.2 of the six-level CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Content
There are diverse exercises ranging from spontaneous situations and conversations to prepared presentations. The course focuses on style and tone and on the conventions of factual communication. The teacher and the students jointly agree on the studying method at the beginning of the course.

XFIN0221 Finnish Structure and Texts 1, XFIN0223 Finnish Oral Skills 1, or corresponding skills (language skill level A2.2–B1.1).
