Objective
The student will be able to communicate orally and textually in simple everyday situations
The student will be aware of the basic structures of German and their use and achieves at least the level A1 of the CEFR (the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Content
The course teaches basic vocabulary from the following topics, among others: introducing yourself and inquiries about others, work and hobbies, situations related to everyday life. The course deals with basic German grammar (eg personal pronouns, numbers, nouns and articles, conjugation of verbs, negation, questions, vowel changing verbs, word order in the main sentence).
The course includes a large amount of self-study, which is carried out through the video-course “Nicos Weg”.
Qualifications
No previous studies required. If you have already studied German before or you have lived in Germany, please contact the teacher before the beginning of the course.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Assessment criteria: active participation in class (attendance min. 80%), completion of homework tasks and online activities (Moodle), self-study ”Nicos Weg”, final exam.
