Osaamistavoitteet

After performing the course the student is able to:

• recognize the fundamental stylistic elements of moving image: Mise-en-scene, cinematography, sound and editing and narrative and nonnarrative forms
• understand cultural and artistic links from historical film schools and eras to contemporary film expression in different moving image genres
• can combine stylistic elements into a film and moving image narrative in own artistic thinking and art work
• apply visual storytelling, editing and sound narration to own artistic work and in directing film and moving image

Arviointikriteeri, hyväksytty/hylätty

Fail: Performance is highly deficient or erroneous. The work may be based on serious misunderstandings.
Pass: Performance corresponds to the assignment, manifesting comprehension and a skill to analyse and justify.
