• You know the northern and the arctic environments, the role of clean nature in tourism and trends of nature tourism, such as nature-based luxury tourism.
• You are able to identify the impacts of climate change and importance of biodiversity at a global and local level in relation to tourism phenomenon.
• You are familiar with Lapland in general and the characteristics of tourism in the Northern and the Arctic regions.
• You are able to take into consideration special features of the local environment as well as the cultural and social aspects as part of nature-based luxury tourism.
• You are able to take into account the Sami culture and cultural sensitivity in tourism.
• You know the concept of regenerative tourism.
