Osaamistavoitteet

Building on the foundational course UCREA1014 this course delves deeper into mobile user interface (UI) design. Students will enhance their understanding of advanced principles and techniques specific to mobile platforms, focusing on creating intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for mobile devices. The course emphasizes practical application, contemporary trends, and the integration of user experience (UX) principles in mobile UI design.

Upon completion of the course students will be able to:
* Apply design principles and techniques to create sophisticated mobile user interfaces.
* Analyze and incorporate current trends and best practices in mobile UI design.
* Design mobile interfaces that balance aesthetic appeal with functional usability.
* Integrate user experience (UX) considerations into mobile UI design.
* Develop mobile UI designs that are responsive and adaptable to various devices and screen sizes.
* Critically evaluate mobile UI designs for usability, accessibility, and user engagement.

50 hours of lectures and supervised work, 85 hours of independent work alone and in groups.
