Objective
The course aims to provide a hands-on, comprehensive learning experience in UI/UX design, equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to create user-centered, effective, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. Students will gain the following skills/knowledge through application in a selected project case:
1) Comprehensive UI Design Process: Understand and engage in the full UI design process, from initial concept to final product, emphasizing the importance of each stage in creating effective user interfaces.
2) Benchmarking and User Research: Learn how to conduct benchmarking against industry standards and perform in-depth user research to inform design decisions and understand user needs and preferences.
3) Prototyping and User Evaluation: Develop skills in creating initial prototypes and conducting user evaluations to test and refine designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
4) Interactive Prototype Development: Gain practical experience in designing and creating interactive prototypes that effectively demonstrate the UI design’s functionality and user interaction.
5) Design Iteration and Usability Testing: Focus on iterative design processes, incorporating user feedback and usability testing results to refine and improve the UI design, ensuring it meets user needs and provides an optimal user experience.
