Objective

Student develops basic oral and written communication skills at level A1.1-A1.2 (CEFR) and is familiar with main aspects of Finnish culture.

Student gets basic skills in Finnish for simple communication situations in everyday life. Student can introduce him/herself and others, can ask and answer questions about personal details, such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. He/she can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
