Objective
The primary objective of the module is to help the student to understand and discuss various questions related to air law.
Content
Air law from the international perspective, including for example:
- general aspects
- the Chicago Convention
- the International Civil Aviation Organization
- air service agreements, airline alliances
- air carrier liability
- financial arrangements
- safety and security
- environmental issues.
Qualifications
No pre-requirements. Having studied the basics of public international law in some form greatly aids in completing the module.
