Objective

Learning objectives:

The student
- understands the significance of an organisation’s goal-oriented and strategic operations
- can assess and develop their own actions as a member of the work community
- can describe and explain the legislation governing the activities of a work community or organisation, and the operating principles of financial administration and human resources management
- can list the key contents of a supervisor’s duties
- can assess their own readiness to serve in a supervisory position

Contents:
- Practical training in a social services operating environment (9 weeks)
- Written professional analysis

Preceding studies:
Client Oriented Practical Training (15 credits) and Deepening Professional Competence (15 credits) must be completed and passed, and work-community and organisational studies must be at least started before this practical training.

Pass:
The student was active in performing the work tasks of their practical training. The student can assess and develop their own actions as a member of the work community as well as assess their own readiness to serve in a supervisory position. The student can describe and explain the legislation governing the activities of a work community or organisation as well as financial administration and human resources management The student can assess the significance of networking in social services and present views on how to improve work practices. The student’s activities in the practical training complied with the ethical principles of the social services field, and they followed the rules of working life.

Fail:
The student’s actions during the practical training were passive and/or inappropriate. The student did not write a professional analysis or it did not follow the instructions.
