Objective

The course is part of the Industrial Automation, Intelligent Field Instrumentation and Field Bus Technology module. In the course, you study the concepts of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 and learn to evaluate how well organizations are prepared for the best practices of Industry 4.0.

You will study Industry 4.0 and industrial internet services, application areas, communication and data storage solutions, as well as the basics of analytics.

You will learn to plan and evaluate industrial internet utilization solutions and data collection and analysis methods and understand the importance of data management and recognize the physical interfaces of the industrial internet. You implement simulated modeling of the industrial internet using a cloud-based open IIoT operating system (Platform as a Service, PaaS)

You will learn to utilize and apply the latest services of cloud technologies and implement a limited cloud service environment.
