Having completed this study unit,
· You know key principles and concepts of the event types and event management theories.
· You can identify the instrumental nature of an event from an event organiser’s viewpoint and know how to apply what you have learned in practice.
· You can describe different safety and security aspects in sport business.
· You are able to name the essential laws, regulations, principles and ethical principles applied in sports safety and security.

You know the event types and event management theories.
You are able to name the instrumental nature of an event from an event organiser’s viewpoint and know how to apply what you have learned in practice.
You know the norms of responsible event organisation and are able to name the risks associated with an event.
You can describe the key principles of safety and security aspects in sport business.
You are able to name basic/the essential principles of laws and regulations and ethical principles related to safety and security.

Pass: You know the principles of everyday safety and of First Aid (EA1).

Level 2

You are able to describe the event types and event man-agement theories.
