A weekly plan is given in the implementation plan. Weekly business classes are being held.

Tavoitteet

Having completed this study unit:

- You are able to plan and implement business activities in a business project.
- You recognize the role of different business processes and their interconnection in practice and understand the main principles of profitable and responsible business.
- You are able to carry out business-related tasks as a responsible and active member of a team
- You are able present the outputs of a project as instructed, both orally and in writing.
- You are able to identify the basic principles and concepts of working in a project

Competences: Learning to learn Competence, Ethics Competence, Responsible Management and Leadership Competence, Marketing, Sales and Project Management Competence

· Implementation of business-related tasks and the business processes in practice
· Main principles of profitable and responsible business in practice

Oppimateriaalit

Study unit material is provided during the study unit implementation.

Opetusmenetelmät

Learning process is organized through the project work and problem-solving process. It includes teamwork, team tasks, team tutoring, independent studies and knowledge acquisition activities.

The Arctic Valley game is a business simulation. Visitor from a bank. An entrepreneur visiting.

Tenttien ajankohdat ja uusintamahdollisuudet

No exam. Closing seminar on week 19. All assignments must be completed by the closing seminar.

Co-operation with the Finnish liiketalous students.

Team and project work as part of business implementation
You are able to plan and implement several business related work tasks in a developmental approach by taking responsibility for the whole team and its results.

You are able to utilize the main principles of profitable and responsive business to evaluate the performance of the business.
You have a command of the basic principles and concepts of working in a project

You are able to plan and implement several business related work tasks fluently by taking responsibility for the whole team and its results. You are able to reflect your own actions and the actions of the team members.
You can foresee the meaning of the different business processes and their interconnection.
You are able to analyze the performance of the business and give suggestions to develop the business.
You have a command of the basic principles and concepts of working in a project and you are able to analyze the success of the project.
