Sisältö
Holistic Approach to Well-Being Tourism explores the synergy between well-being and tourism, emphasizing the holistic concept of well-being. Students will learn how to measure and evaluate the impact of health and well-being and apply these insights to tourism business development through practical case examples.
Aika ja paikka
Online Lecture Attendance Policy: 80%. If you fall below, there will be an extra assignment (plus fall to the final grade) Punctuality: Arrive on time for online lectures. Assignment Deadline Policy: Late submissions will not be accepted Activeness during the course sessions will affect the final grade positively

Opetusmenetelmät
The course is delivered online through the LAB learning platform. Teaching methods include online lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, and group assignments. Students will also engage in self-directed learning and reflection tasks.

Students may complete the course through individual assignments if group participation is not possible, subject to teacher approval.

The work load is 5x27 hrs = 135 hrs - 16x2 hrs online lectures = 32 hrs - reading assignments about 1,5 h/ week - written reflection about 1 h/ week - individual work for the group assignment about 2 hrs/ week - online group meetings 2 h/ week

Recommended prior knowledge: - Basics of tourism and hospitality - Understanding of responsible tourism and well-being services - Ability to work in project-based learning environments
