After completing this course: Student has ability to identify the change in airline industry and airline markets during the past century. Student is able to define aviation value chain and airline's main stakeholders. Student is able to distinguish diverse airline business models, partnerships and the density of partnerships. Student is able to interpret airline's basic key performance indicators.

Introduction to Air Transport consists of basic consepts in air transport and airline business. After the course you are able to to identify the change in airline industry and airline markets during the past century and, how airline performance is measured. You are also able to distinguish diverse airline business models, partnerships and the density of partnerships.

The Introduction to Air Transport Management virtual study module is closely connected to the aviation industry, including airlines and other key organizations.

The first assignment is due by 1.5.2026. All remaining assignments, including the final assignment, must be submitted by 15.5. 2026.
