Opetusmenetelmät

The teaching method will be a combination of seminar-type online contact sessions with discussions, teamwork, team work presentations and peer review of a team work assignment.
The learning process will be student driven. The critical thinking skills are encouraged and nurtured as a core part of the outcome. The students are couraged to demonstrate active involvement and meaningful contributions to class discussions and the learning process. The practical orientation is accomplished through team work assignment.

Grades 1-2: The student is able
- to interpret business ecosystems.
- understands the main elements and roles of business ecosystems.
- understands how to analyse business ecosystems.

Grades 3-4: The student
- understands the role of business ecosystems and platforms in the digital transformation of businesses.
- is able to interpret business ecosystems, and understands the importance and the role of ecosystem for an enterprise.
- is able to apply ecosystem thinking in decision making.
- is able to draw and analyse business ecosystems.
- is able to give useful development recommendations for an enterprise about the business ecosystems.

Grade 5: The student
- is able to critically analyze business ecosystems.
- is able to analyse critically different factors in the construction and operation of business ecosystems in the case company.
- is able to propose development ideas for the case company about business ecosystem.
- is able to give useful ecosystem development recommendations with proper argumentation for the case company.
