Objective
The student is able to lead and evaluate activities of multidisciplinary teams, project groups and actors, and goal-oriented research and development processes. He/she understands the importance of value proposition, professional ethics, and good scientific practice in development activities. He/she is able to develop the culture of communication and interaction, resilience, and holistic well-being in his/her team. The student is able to apply the change management approach to put results into practice.

Teaching methods
The study unit is implemented as online studies. The study unit includes prescheduled contact days according to the schedule below.
The teaching in the study unit is based on co-educational pedagogy and it is implemented in Finnish and in English. Learning assignments are done individually or in a small group. It is possible to complete the studies in either Finnish or in English.

1-2: The student
- demonstrates understanding and produces examples of project work and project management in his/her development task.
- looks at operations from an ethical perspective, identifies and reports on new areas for development using evidence-based data.

- is able to demonstrate key phenomena related to project operations and change management in his/her development task, and to substantiate them with evidence-based information.
- analyzes project management and operations from an ethical perspective, looking for constructive solutions in the light of evidence-based information.

- is able to evaluate the usability and effectiveness of project results.
