Location and time
Spring 2025, Kauppakatu 58, Tornio in classroom and in Zoom
Tuesday afternoons at 14:00-18:00 (21.1, 11.2., 18.2., 25.2., 11.3., 18.3., 25.3., 8.4., 15.4. & 13.5.)
Due to large number of students, the whole class will be divided into two groups:
Gp1 at 14:00-16:00 and Gp 2 at 16:00-18:00

Teaching methods
The learning pedagogy includes 30 "blended" contact lessons (in-class and Zoom) during which pair and group exercises are carried out, in addition to self-supervised studies done outside of class hours.
Mandatory participation required during class activities and tasks to facilitate continuous evaluation and the opportunity for students to practise and learn.
Exam schedules
Written and spoken expression skills will be evaluated on a continuous basis during lessons.
There will be final written and spoken proficiency tests which must be accomplished successfully by the end of the course.
Students are allowed to re-do the tests twice successfully to receive a passing grade.
Content scheduling
Students acquire business vocabulary and learn diverse English language skills for business life to be able to communicate orally and in writing form for professional interaction.
The studies include individual, group work and independent study.
