Objective

You work in a team implementing an assignment in the project. The topic is a real life topic received from the industry, a company or from other employer. You learn to funcion as a member of a project team and bear responsibility from your own work. The project uses the CDIO-model which consists of four stages. In the Fall semester project you will concentrate to the first two stages: C (conceive): You develop the basic solution by using different idea- and preplanning methods. D (design): You design the final solution for the project containing all the necessary documents and methods for the actual implementation stage.

Content

In the beginning of the project the teams will be formed and orientation to the work will start according to the demands given by the employer. A project plan will be made about the implementation of the project. The project plan defines e.g. the responsibilities and roles of the team members. Developing the solution to the given problem is the main task in this project. It includes searching information and applying previously acquired information to achieve the project goals. The results will be reported in seminar which will be arranged at the end of the project. The detailed solutions of the project will be reported in the ”Project: Finding solution” in Spring semester.

Material will be presented in the course Moodle site
