Objective
At the successful completion of the course, the student candescribe specific learning difficulties, intellectual disabilityand giftedness. She/he can identify the causes of barriers tolearning and theoretical approaches that underpin ourunderstandings of these barriers. She/he can explain howmulticultural aspects, specific learning difficulties, intellectualdisability and giftedness are connected with learning, andunderstands how different pedagogical approaches can be used tosupport the diverse needs of learners.
Content
The course consists of an exploration of barriers to learningand dimension of intelligence through a literacy review.
