This course offers a comprehensive package that helps you understand the key concepts of sustainability and learn to analyze its importance in the organization's current and future situation. Dive into the world of megatrends and silent signals, define development targets and plan impressive sustainability measures. The course gives you concrete tools to promote sustainability both in your own work and in the organization's strategy. Join us in building a more sustainable future - responsibility starts with you! Core content: - definition of sustainability and key concepts - outlining the current status and future of the organization's sustainability - sustainability as part of the value proposition and service promise - megatrends and weak signals in future development - defining and prioritizing development targets in the organization - developing sustainability

Materials

Opintojaksolla käytetään oppimateriaaleina mm. oppimisympäristössä olevia verkkoaineistoja ja oppijan itsenäisestí hakemia tietolähteitä.

Teaching methods

Opintojakso opiskellaan verkossa Moodle-oppimisympäristössä. Opintojakson voi opiskella itsenäisesti omaan tahtiin toteutusaikana 1.9.2025 - 31.7.2026. Opiskelu sisältää materiaaleihin perehtymistä ja itsenäistä työskentelyä sekä osalllistumista verkkokeskusteluihin. Työskentelyn tuloksena syntyy kehittämissuunnitelmia vastuullisuuden edistämiseksi valittuun kohdeorganisaatioon. Opintojakso arvioidaan oppimistehtävien suoritusten (videoraporttien) perusteella. Opintojakso arvioidaan asteikolla 0-5. Opintojakson tehtävien on oltava suoritettuna viimeistään 31.7.2026. Opintojakson suorittamiseksi vaadittavat tehtävät voi palauttaa milloin tahansa opintojaksolla olevaan palautuskansioon / keskustelualueelle ja ne arvioidaan kuukauden kuluessa määritellyistä palautuspäivistä. Kesä- ja heinäkuun aikana palautetut oppimistehtävät arvioidaan elokuussa. Palautuspäivät ovat 31.10.2025, 30.11.2025, 31.1.2026, 31.3.2026, 30.4.2026, 15.5.2026 ja 31.7.2026.
