Objective

The object of the course: You will learn the basics of the Russian language. By the end of the course, you can manage simple everyday communication situations in Russian. You know the most common polite phrases in Russian. You understand the cultural differences between Finland and Russia. Course competences: The course prepares and equips you to act and work in an international and multicultural environment. The learning objectives of the course You can interact in simple and routine everyday situations, although problems in pronunciation and pauses may affect communication. You understand the main points of a simple text. You are able to write a simple text using the vocabulary and structures you have learned on the course. You understand the cultural differences between your home country and Russia. Starting level: 0. Objective: A1 (according to CEFR)

Cyrillic alphabet Pronunciation Communication: Greetings, introductions, telling about your life in a simple way, languages and nationalities, family, restaurant vocabulary, shopping Grammar: personal pronouns and possessive pronouns, numerals, gender, affirmative and negative sentences, basic questions, present tense of regular verbs Cultural knowledge: The cultural knowledge of Russian
