Objective

Upon successful completion of the course the student should:

1. have requisite confidence and skills to handle academic and legal situations
2. have a good command of peer assessment techniques that highlight the role of the listener as a key element in successful communication,
3. be familiar with effective methods of structuring and presenting arguments,
4. have capability to discuss complex legal concepts and topics in different kinds of settings.

Content

The course will consist of distinctive features of spoken English and oral presentation; preparing and giving presentations; illustrating points effectively; preparing, structuring and presenting arguments; peer and self-assessment; pronunciation and fluency exercises.
