Objective
Practical training that promotes professional skills is an essential part of a university of applied sciences degree. Basic Training 1 is goal-oriented and varied work during which you will become familiar with the rules of working life in the technical field and the key tasks in your own field. You will learn to work in professional communities in your field and master professional communication and interaction in the workplace. The training teaches you to apply what you have learned in practical work, motivates you in your studies, and helps you to focus your studies in line with your own career plans.
Accomplishment methods
Completing the internship during your studies according to the instructions.
Completing the internship through recognition of prior learning (skills acquired through work experience); students return their internship logbook to Moodle according to the instructions.
Content
Training method and content:
At the start of training:
View general training information and basic training information in Moodle (+mark as viewed) and complete the planning section of the training report.
Completion of the internship:
Internship period 3 weeks, 120 hours.
At the end of the internship:
Return the required documents (work certificate attached to the internship book), describe in the internship book in particular how your skills developed during the internship (describe well what you learned (knowledge/skills)).
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Approved:
The student has completed the required internship period (3 weeks) in work environments and tasks related to their field of study. Before starting the internship, the student has completed the Basic Internship 1 and 2 instructions in the Moodle environment. After completing the internship, the student has produced and submitted the required documents (work certificate, internship book) to Moodle and participated in the internship seminar. The student is able to describe their own skills and abilities in relation to the completion of the internship, describe the internship location and tasks, and assess the development of their skills in relation to the objectives of the internship.
Fail:
The student has not completed the required internship period in tasks related to their field of study, or they have not submitted the documents related to the completion of the internship and have not completed the internship information in Moodle.
