Objective

Upon course completion, the student can readily use history and theory of photo-pictorial communication and representation towards their own productions, recognizing their relationships with the present and society, and write analytically and critically about photography.

Execution methods

Lectures 28 h, exam, independent work 80 h. Contact teaching (lectures 28 h) via lectures (required attendance).

Lectures (required attendance), photography and written tasks.

Content

The student gets a deeper understanding about the development of photography and its relationship with other artistic fields.
