Objective

The student can finish their thesis for presentation and evaluation.

Content

- Thesis report
- English abstract
- Plagiarism check
- Presentation of a thesis in accordance with the degree programme’s practices
- Maturity test
- The commissioner’s evaluation
- The student’s self-evaluation and peer evaluation in accordance with the degree programme’s practices
- Archiving and publishing the thesis

Location and time

To be completed in WIHI and Zoom in weeks 19-22. Includes a group supervision meeting, an oral presentation of the thesis and writing of a maturity examination. Return of the finished thesis by 25 May, oral presentation seminar on 29 May and maturity exam in week 22. The theses are assessed in week 23.

Teaching methods

- Self-directed study of content, materials and instructions and application to your own thesis
- Interactive and open sharing of knowledge with students, supervisors and commissioner in supervision meetings
- Return of written outputs of the thesis

Student workload

The final stage of the thesis is 5 credits, or about 135 hours of work. The thesis requires self-initiative and systematic work on a weekly basis throughout the process.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

- Thesis presented
- Maturity test approved
- Thesis evaluated in accordance with the thesis evaluation criteria
