Objective
Having completed this study unit
· You understand the basics of nature-based luxury tourism.
· You understand the product-centred and service-oriented views in tourism.
· You are familiar with various types of nature-based luxury tourism products, services and experiences.
· You learn special elements of the nature-based luxury tourism, which are related to high emphasis on hospitality,
experiential elements and sustainability including an understanding of tourism carrying capacity aspects.
· You understand the importance and principles of service quality.
· You learn the basics of planning and implementing a small-scale nature-based luxury tourism experience by using
basic design tools such as a customer journey and blueprint.
