Content

This participatory course provides students with an encouraging environment in which to develop confidence and competence in crafting and delivering presentations.

Along with concentrating on the content and structure, consideration is given to managing nervousness, vocal delivery, non-verbal communication, intercultural insights, and audience engagement.

The course includes reflection, active discussion, giving presentations and feedback. The learning process is supported by articles, videos, guides, expressions and phrases, along with exercises in impromptu speaking to enhance spontaneity in oral communication. The core of the course is based on the give-and-take principle where students give presentations and get feedback from classmates and, in turn, give feedback on others’ presentation.
