Objective
After completion of the course the student is able to
- recognize the steps necessary for the design and completion of an independent research project
- explain the theoretical and methodological framework of research and idenify and collect relevant research materials
- present the research orally, and both receive and give research feedback.

Content
Over the course of the study unit, the student will design and undertetake an independent MA thesis project and present it to other students and the responsible teacher. The learning process takes place through active seminar participation and peer interaction as well as through written assignments and independent thesis work.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Fail: Performance is highly deficient or erroneous. The work may be based on serious misunderstandings.
Pass: Performance corresponds to the assignment, manifesting comprehension and a skill to analyse and justify.
