Objective

The course aims to provide students with foundational knowledge of the tourism sector. Upon completion, students will be able to describe tourism as an industry.

Execution methods

Opintojakso toteutetaan verkko-opintona Zoomissa ja Moodlessa. Opintojaksoon sisältyy reaaliaikaista verkko-opetusta sekä itsenäistä opiskelua.

Accomplishment methods

Opintojakso suoritetaan pääasiassa itsenäisesti verkossa Zoomissa ja Moodlessa. Suorittamiseen tarvitaan tietokone ja verkkoyhteys.

Fail (0): The student cannot describe tourism as an industry.

Pass (1): The student can describe tourism as an industry, work and experience in a limited manner.

Satisfactory (2): The student can describe tourism as an industry, work and experience in a superficial manner.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good (3): The student can describe tourism as an industry, work and experience.

Very Good (4): The student can comprehensively describe tourism as an industry, work and experience.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent (5): The student can comprehensively and critically describe tourism as an industry, work and experience.
