Objective
Having completed the course students can assess their own skills in relation to the needs, tasks, and challenges of the work environment.
Full-time practice 1-3 months, report 5-15 pp. The work practice report must be returned within 3 months of the end of the internship. The content of the report is described in the section "Content".
Full-time work practice 1–3 months, a work practice report. 1 month work practice, 5 pages report = 5 cr. 2 month work practice, 10 pages report = 10 cr. 3 month work practice, 10-15 pages report = 15 cr.
Content
The practical meaning and content of the major's professional and scientific goals are familiarized with the internship. Work practice (1–3 months) in a workplace approved in advance by the responsible teacher, and a report on the work practice. The work practice report includes the following: - a description of the environment, function, and strategy of the workplace
- a description of the student’s own tasks (e.g. pictures, drafts, ideating phases) as part of the workplace’s overall function and organization
- an analysis of an individual function at the workplace and its examination from the perspective of studies
- a report on possible acquired skills, views, and networks and an estimate of possible tasks after graduation
- a copy of the letter of reference

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Pass: The report has been prepared in accordance with the instructions, and it reflects one's own competence against the requirements of the work tasks. The student presents a work certificate, which shows the length of the working period.
